The Diner of the Living Dead

The Diner of the Living Dead

Every year since 2007 my family and I have attended The Nashville Zombie Walk. It started out a loose association of nerds and horror fans in crumby make up wandering around Nashville’s river front. The first year we attended there were only a few hundred people if that many. Last year there were hundreds, maybe even a thousand. For a fan of the zombie sub genre, it is an incredible and exciting experience to join a zombie horde and swarm through a major U.S. city.

As far as this picture goes, our first year in the Z Walk was an abysmal failure. We had the wrong time written down, missed the gathering and ended up wandering aimlessly without any other zombies to lurch with. Tired, frustrated and hungry we invaded the nearest Waffle House we could find. This was the result.

Expect more pictures and stories to come soon.
