Summer Reading

Summer is meant for relaxation. You want to lay out by the beach and enjoy the cool breeze coming across the open ocean while the sun gently crisps your skin brown. There are cook outs and camping trips, day camps and water parks all waiting to be explored. For those of us who are pigmentally challenged, fair skin folks who burn in the moon light, it’s time to lay in the shade and enjoy some good books. For those of us with a short attention spans that compliment our People Under the Stairs complexion, here are some awesome short story sites you should check out:

Homepage of the Dead
The largest collection of zombie fiction on the internet.

Micro Horror
Penny dreadfuls 666 words or less.

Hello Horror
Free online horror magazine.

Quarter Reads
25¢ a story. Fair price for some great stories.

And, of course, take a look at Necronomenclature and A Thousand Little Deaths.

Have fun.
