Quarter Reads was a fantastic site offering authors a chance to publish their short fiction, highlight their talents, and make a little change (literally) in the process. At 25¢ a story, it was a great way for readers to be introduced to so many styles, genres, and new authors and 22¢ of every quarter went to the artist. Sadly, they are no more. My three pieces published on the site will go back into slushpile limbo looking for a more permanent home. Can’t tell you how sad I am to see this site go.
