So, to begin with, I’m in one piece despite trying my best to bake myself alive on the beach and in San Diego. My walking sticks look like furry bacon but otherwise are fine. I made all my flights without any “There’s something on the wing!” Shatner/Lithgow moments and there are lots of cool pics heading to my IG in a day or two.

Now, for the writing related stuff.

Spoke to the editor at Onyx Neon a few days ago. Apparently they had some shake ups at the publisher around the time I submitted A Thousand Little Deaths for their anthology collection and the editing staff is hoping to have an answer soon on whether or not they want to reprint it. If they come back and buy the rights it could mean some incredible things for the story. If not, no big deal. It’ll still be on Amazon for sale.

The Question got picked up by Hello Horror for their October issue while Schroedinger’s Dilemma is still running on Deadman’s Tome. Links are available below so go check out my stories and all the other great, spooky stories that both sites have to offer.

I’m working on a few new Beautiful Creatures articles and a couple for PDI’s Page to Screen column. Also, PDI has us all hard at work getting ready for Halloween with the ABC’s of Horror. I’ll be covering C for (Bruce) Campbell and L for (Bela) Lugosi. There’s also some really cool collaborations and projects coming down the pipe from PDI so keep reading.

Finally, the mystery of Micro Horror continues… mostly cause I haven’t had time to check into it.

So, much like a man trapped on a plane 30,000 feet in the air, don’t go anywhere. Cool stuff is coming soon.
