Keeping Up the Updates

It’s been quite a while since I updated the blog and for both of you following, my apologies. My health has been in the toilet lately and when I’m not at home or in the ER I’ve been at work. That said, I’m finally starting to have energy and feel better now and I’ve been doing quite a bit in the meantime.

I’m continuing my work for Psycho Drive In and 52 Weeks of Horror while also continuing my own projects. The Nashville Zombie Walk is coming along, albeit much slower than I would like. I’m still in the process of trying to raise money for the event as, unfortunately, putting on a zombie walk is an insanely expensive thing to do. You can read about it here. I’m also working on getting press passes (and funding) to go to San Diego ComiCon and Nashville’s own Full Moon Horror Festival this year but that’s all still very much up in the air. I’m working on two new anthologies of my own short stories and will be appearing in a new collection that will be announced (hopefully) in the next few weeks. Finally, I’ve finished a treatment of Schrodinger’s Dilemma with the intention of shooting the short film later this spring. I did some lighting tests with the camera yesterday and I’ll share more about it soon.

Provided things continue to improve with my health and that the work I still have to finish on my home can come together sometime in the next couple of weeks, I’ll have quite a bit of time to write which will translate into a lot of new stories going to publishers and going up on the blog. Until then, keep following me on social media as @dotdblog and keep checking back here for updates.
